The third-generation Surface Go is available in a variety of configurations, including an entry-level model with an Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor and 4GB RAM a step-up model with doubled RAM to 8GB and storage to 128GB and a step-up model with an Intel Core i3 processor. If you add the keyboard, you've got a mid-tier laptop replacement - well, we would say almost. Simply attach the Pen and use it as a sketch pad-style tablet. It is, technically, a tablet that runs Windows 11 right out of the box. What you want to do with the Go 3 will determine how you see it. Wireless communications include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, which are powered by the standard Intel AX200 card, as well as an NFC radio in the top right corner. The Surface Go 3 retains the successful hallmarks of Surface design, such as compatibility with a Type Cover keyboard and Surface Pen stylus (these remain the same, so if you are replacing an older Go device, you don't need to repurchase a keyboard unless you simply want a different colour or design). The display refresh rate can be reduced from 60Hz to 48Hz, which should save battery life, and it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 frontage to help keep it scratch-free. The magnesium body, adjustable kickstand, and limited port options are still retained as the predecessor.
